The new housings provide internal environments for continuous operation of the installed camera at low external temperatures. Side openings facilitate accessibility to camera, lenses and all the connections.
Videotec S.p.A. (Schio, Italy), a specialized manufacturer of outdoor video surveillance solutions, produces the VERSO a housing range, made from tough techno-polymer. The company has now developed the new POLAR model by adapting the VERSO range, equipping it with a high-performance heating system and nickel-plated brass cable glands suitable for temperatures as low as –55 °C. Several assembly versions, either wall-mounted or with supports and inner cable threading, with anti-vandal protection is offered. The entire production range conforms to the ISO 9001 standard.
